The Member of Parliament for Sagnerigu Constituency in the Northern Region, Alhassan Bashir Fuseini, popularly known as Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has hinted of his party’s decision to go to court to seek redress on the December 7 elections.
According to him, no one can force the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to go to court until they have gathered all their evidence.
Also, Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency in the Volta Region Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor speaking on Onua TV said in Twi that “we are going to court on 28th December. We are going to court”.
He added: “We are walking to the EC office to register our protest and present a petition to the EC”.
The minority in parliament on Tuesday matched to the Electoral Commission (EC) headquarters this morning to protest the results of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary polls.
The march comes on the back of the continuous street protests by supporters of the party following the declaration of results by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission Jean Mensa.
