An officer of the Ghana Police Service, Constable Senanu Davordzie, has been reported dead after his own gun accidentally discharged bullets into his abdomen.
According to reports, the police officer who was returning his AK47 rifle to his station after completing his night shift at a commercial bank located at the Takoradi Market Circle.
Unawardely fell from his motorbike which consequently triggered the unprepared gunshots.
In other news, the police service at Takoradi has launched investigations into this devastating development .
The AK47 rifle of the deceased security agent has also been retrieved and it is being used in the investigation process.
