The newest president to congratulate Nana Addo for his hard-fought victory is the president of Cote d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara.
The leader of the Ivorian state adopted his Twitter page to churn out his message of applauds to Nana Addo.
He wrote:
My warmest congratulations and best wishes to my brother @NAkufoAddo on his re-election as President of the Republic of Ghana. I look forward to working with him in the same warm spirit which has marked the historic and fraternal relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana for so many years.
