The daughter of Ghana’s former dictator and high-ranked military officer Ignatius Kutu Acheampong, Nana Serwaa Acheampong believes that she has had the perfect last-laugh and nothing under the sun can stop her from jubilating.
According to the resentful daughter whose eyes and heart is engulfed with revenge, Rawlings’ death calls for a celebration because of the atrocities he committed some years back.
She also noted that Rawlings’ extremely wicked actions during his tenure in the office of the presidency are enough to make merry about his death.
In a lengthy post she shared on her Facebook wall, she noted that Rawlings should have suffered before he died just like the agony her father endured before his death when she was just aged 6.
Late Acheampong was court martialed and executed along with General Edward Kwaku Utuka by firing squad on 16 June 1979 on the order of J.J Rawlings.
