A Nigerian woman who goes by the name Aisha Salaudeen has complained bitterly on twitter about the shock she had to go through when she was asked to leave a restaurant just because she wasn’t there with a man.
She went on twitter and poured out her heart saying she has visited the said restaurant a couple of times in the past but to her utmost disbelief she was asked to leave the restaurant this time because she wasn’t there with a man.
This is unbelievable!
Below is what she wrote on her twitter page;
I got kicked out of Harzoyka restaurant in GRA Ikeja today because according to them, they have a new policy – no women allowed. This is a restaurant I’ve visited multiple times in the past few years.
When I pressed about why I was been hushed out, I was told that to eat in there I had to be chaperoned by a man. I was too stunned to comment, I cannot have a meal because I’m a woman? @MsAdeola and I had to eat somewhere else.
