The organizers of the annual African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA) will hold the seventh edition virtually on the 15th of November 2020.
Just like several ceremonies across the globe, AFRIMMA will go virtual due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which makes it impossible for a larger number of people to congregate.
President/CEO of AFRIMMA Anderson Obiagwu confirmed it in a statament.
“We are taking you on a musical journey into the sounds of Africa, the beauty of African music lies in the diversity and the AFRIMMA virtual awards would be a showcase event”. he said.
Burna Boy and Diamond Platnumz and an array of African music stars have all been nominated in the various categories.
There will be performances from Fally Ipupa, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Nadia Mukami, Soraia Ramos, and others.
This year’s theme is ‘Destination Africa’.
