Aminu Musa Abdullahi, nephew of the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi has allegedly been kidnapped according to reports.
According to Daily Trust, Aminu Musa A.K.A Yaya Baba was seized by some suspected kidnappers on the Abuja-Kaduna highway. The incident is reported to have happened last week.
According to a close source, the family has been contacted by the kidnappers to pay an amount as ransom for his release but the family lost contact with them.
In a statement, the source said;
“The family has sourced the requested amount and when the person assigned to deliver the money to the kidnappers set out to meet them, he lost contact with them completely. Till this moment, they have not communicated to the family.”
