A pregnant woman has been killed while her husband has been kidnapped by some suspected criminals on November 3.
Some security officials tried to rescue the couple who were kidnapped from their home in Rigachikun in Kaduna state. However, they were involved in a gun battle and the wife got killed and the husband taken.
Reports by the nation stated;
“Kidnappers stormed the house of the victims and went away with them, then security operatives chased them and in the process of fire exchange, the kidnappers shot the woman and she later died in the hospital. The woman was pregnant and about to give birth before the ugly incident. She has already been buried according to Islamic rites”
